Savage Eden The Battle for Laghaim

Profanity/vulgarity:
Account Locked for at least 24 hours.

Macros/Hacks:

1) First offense of suspected macro use, your account will be locked for at least 1 business day. A rollback of experience points will be exercised. This will include skill points being removed as well. An email will be sent to the player requesting an explanation and/or reassurances that the macro has been removed and that it will not be used again. The account will be unlocked at the end of the time limit.

2) Second offense of suspected macro use, your account will be locked for at least 2 business days. A larger rollback of experience and skill points will take place along with items being removed. Again an email will be sent to the player requesting an explanation and/or reassurances that the macro has been removed and will not be used again. The account will be unlocked at the end of the time limit.

3) Third offense of suspected macro use, your account will be locked for 1 full week from the time of locking. The character will remain locked for an additional week with a major significant loss of experience/skill points and items will be removed from all characters. Again an email will be sent to the player requesting an explanation and/or reassurances that the macro has been removed and will not be used again. At this time the account and character will be unlocked at the end of the time limit.

4) Fourth offense, your account will be locked and the player will be banned from Savage Eden. The player will be sent an email suggesting they find their online gaming experience elsewhere.

5) I reserve the right to change these in the future.

THE RULES ARE:
1) You may not harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort to another player.

2) You may not use any offensive or sexually explicit language.

3) You may not use any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable language toward any other player.

4) You may not impersonate any Savage Eden Online Customer Support representative or other employee of Savage Eden.

5) You may not market, promote or advertise anything, or make any other form of solicitation (including pyramid schemes and chain letters) on the Savage Eden Online Service or through the Savage Eden Online Web Site.

6) You may not violate any local, state, national or international law or regulation.

7) You may not modify any part of the Savage Eden Online Service or Web Site that Savage Eden does not specifically authorize you to modify.

8) You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated software or other contraband while you are on the Savage Eden Online Service or Web Site, or use the Savage Eden Online Service or Web Site for any other illegal purpose.

9) You may not organize any guilds or groups that are based on, or espouse, any racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-gay, or other hate-mongering philosophy.

10) You may not use the Savage Eden Online Service or the Savage Eden Online Web Site for any activities other than activities that are permitted within the game world.

11) You may not post or communicate any player's real world personal information within the Savage Eden Online Service or through the Savage Eden Online Web Site or bulletin board.

12) You may not give false information or intentionally hide any information, such as email address or billing information, which is required at the time you register with the Savage Eden Online Service. It is your responsibility to keep this information up-to-date.

13) You will not upload or transmit on the Savage Eden Online Service, or through the Savage Eden Online Web Site or bulletin board, any copyrighted content that you do not own all rights to, unless you have the express written permission of the author or copyright holder.

14) You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Savage Eden Online Service.

15) You will not exploit any bug in the Savage Eden Online product or the Savage Eden Online Service to gain unfair advantage in the game and you will not communicate the existence of any such bug (either directly or through public posting) to any other user of the Savage Eden Online Service. You will promptly report any such bug via e-mail:  bugs@savageeden.com

16) You will not attempt to play Savage Eden Online on any service that is not controlled or authorized by Savage Eden.

17 ) You will not create, use or provide any server emulator or other site where Savage Eden Online may be played, and you will not post or distribute any utilities, emulators or other software tools related to Savage Eden Online without the express written permission of Savage Eden.

18) You will not do anything else that interferes with the ability of other Savage Eden Online users to enjoy playing the game in accordance with its rules, or that increases the expense or difficulty of Savage Eden in maintaining the Savage Eden Online Service for the enjoyment of all its users.

19) You may not defraud other players.

Fraud is defined as falsely representing one's intentions to make a gain at another's expense. Examples of this activity include, but are not limited to, using deception to deprive another player of items, slandering another player or impersonating them with the intention of causing harm to that player's reputation, or falsely representing one's identity in order to gain access to another player's account or account information.

Fraud in all transactions between players may result in disciplinary action when confirmed by an Savage Eden representative.

20) We reserve the right to change offensive Character and Guild names or profiles without prior notification of the account holder.

21) Sharing accounts - If an infraction of any rule occurs the account is still liable for any punishment due. "It was my brother...", or friend, or the family parrot does not matter.

22) "It was a joke..." - is not viable as an excuse. Saying or doing anything that is normally punishable under our rules is still punishable despite the fact that you and the other person involved may have thought it all humorous. No one else is in on the joke so it is taken seriously and dealt with in accordance with the other rules listed here.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU AGREE TO THESE RULES AND WILL ABIDE BY THEM.

YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT THESE RULES WILL APPLY TO ANYONE THAT YOU ALLOW TO USE YOUR SAVAGE EDEN ONLINE ACCOUNT OR USER ID, AND THAT YOU ARE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONSEQUENCES (INCLUDING TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT) THAT MAY RESULT IF ANY SUCH PERSON BREAKS THESE RULES.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF YOUR ACCOUNT AND RIGHT TO USE THE SAVAGE EDEN ONLINE SERVICE IS TERMINATED BY SAVAGE EDEN FOR ANY REASON, YOU WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF ANY FEES PAID BY YOU FOR USE OF THE SAVAGE EDEN ONLINE SERVICE AND YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY UNUSED ACCESS TIME THAT YOU HAVE REMAINING AT THE TIME OF TERMINATION.

IN ORDER TO HELP MAKE SAVAGE EDEN ONLINE A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE, SAVAGE EDEN MAY OCCASIONALLY FIND IT NECESSARY TO MAKE CHANGES TO, OR RESET CERTAIN PARAMETERS OF, AN ON-GOING WORLD IN ORDER TO BRING IT BACK INTO BALANCE. THESE CHANGES OR RESETS MAY AFFECT CHARACTERS UNDER YOUR CONTROL AND MAY CAUSE YOU SETBACKS WITHIN THE GAME WORLD.

THESE RULES MAY BE CHANGED, AND NEW RULES MAY BE ADDED, AT ANY TIME. YOU AGREE TO CHECK THE SAVAGE EDEN ONLINE WEB SITE FROM TIME TO TIME TO REVIEW ANY RULE CHANGES THAT SAVAGE EDEN MAY HAVE MADE.
